Senior Marketing Manager - Social Media and Content

The Role

The Senior Marketing Manager of Social Media and Content will lead the strategy, growth, and execution of our organic social media presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for developing the social media strategy for MAAK and its parent company Bunker, driving engagement, and curating social-first experiences that strengthen community and brand presence. You will work with our marketing team, digital artists, product specialists, and content creator partners to elevate and evolve the brand narrative.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and own the end-to-end social strategy for MAAK and Bunker.
  • Define and coordinate a pipeline of creative ideas and trend-inspired concepts for future content.
  • Define the organic media strategy, including campaign planning, audience targeting, and channel selection to maximize reach and performance.
  • Establish a framework and system to standardize social media workflows.
  • Report on user-generated content, customer feedback, and cultural trends to inform marketing and product teams.

Management & Coordination

  • Plan, organize, schedule and oversee posting across channels.
  • Coordinate with influencers and partners to align calendars and ensure coverage of key product launches and events.
  • Manage content development and timelines for both internal and external content, overseeing the creation of compelling visuals, copy, and storytelling
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to generate and refine content.
  • Collaborate in SME (Subject Matter Expert) to create technical content in both video and visual formats.
  • Implement automation, AI tools, and scalable systems to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance content performance.

Day-to-Day Engagement

  • Represent the brand in timely, smart, and strategic conversations across platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to DMs and comments across social channels.
  • Engage with tagged content, mentions, and relevant conversations to foster authentic connections.
  • Oversee community moderation to maintain a consistent and positive brand presence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, with a focus on outdoor, tactical, or product-based brands.
  • Proven record of leading and implementing social media strategy, building teams, and growing audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the outdoor and tactical social media landscape, with expertise in influencer marketing and integration with organic content.
  • Experience in mobile accessories is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage teams or contractors.
  • Strategic thinker with creative instincts; able to identify resonant content, position it effectively, and drive performance.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills, including on-camera presence.
  • Ability to shoot and edit content for social platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and revenue-driven, with a passion for outdoor, tactical, or technology-driven markets.
  • Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly, wear multiple hats, and thrive in fast-paced conditions.
  • Experience with digital paid media campaigns is considered a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required. This may include, but is not limited to: photoshoots, trade shows, test events with MAAK/Bunker products, customer visits, etc.

Multimedia Designer – Video Editor

The Role

We’re seeking a part-time Multimedia Designer – Video Editor to join our creative and marketing team. This role is responsible for developing content and digital assets for MAAK and its parent company Bunker, supporting product launches, social media campaigns, trade shows, and ongoing brand initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to transform ideas into engaging video, design, and storytelling. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit video content from raw footage and 3D animation for social media, product launches, tutorials, and campaigns.
  • Create engaging animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Develop short-form, trend-driven content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Incorporate AI tools and stock footage to elevate production quality.
  • Repurpose video content into blogs and supporting written material while ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Optimize videos and graphics for various formats, resolutions, and platform requirements.
  • Design marketing assets including catalogs, sales flyers, promotional graphics, email campaigns, and other brand collateral.
  • Support marketing and sales teams with graphic design requests.
  • Edit and retouch raw photography while maintaining brand aesthetics.
  • Manage project files, maintain organized archives, and deliver work on schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video and design work.
  • Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign).
  • Experience creating content for social platforms and marketing campaigns.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
